It is a common mistake made by so many teens every year to ask their valentine in a bland way, such as asking over text or simply putting no thought into the proposal.
“I think a bad proposal would be asking over text, ‘Do you want to be my valentine?’” Bekah Lape ‘26 said. “Or not even asking at all, because that’s just really awkward.”
