As the summer draws closer, many students have taken interest in student jobs, but many should consider the benefits and drawbacks of employment. Eager students often want to work either for the money or the experience, but it is a huge time commitment. One of the school’s economics teachers, Mr. Fraley gave advice to teenagers considering picking up a job.
“If you’re able to do the work-life balance of being a student, and then going out to work 15 to 20 hours, and so that I think that will help you immensely with learning like […] your time management skills,” Fraley said.
