Varsity Boys Tennis has come off to a great season. They crushed their first match against Hilliard Darby with a score of 4 to 1. BNN’s Rishika Boda ‘28 and Darshana Sudarmani ‘28 dive deeper into the team dynamic and how things are going so far.
The team strives to be competitive throughout the season and to support each other. Although tennis is an individual sport, the players make sure to support each other on and off the courts.
“We make sure as a team collectively that we can get that win,” Rupesh Patil ‘28 said.
Tennis isn’t only an athletic sport, but also has a mental aspect. Players mention that a positive attitude is key for an amazing season.
“I think if we just play our best and have fun while doing it, that counts as a successful season,” Kashyap Budavarthy ‘26 said.
The team is set for a productive season this year.
