March is Women’s History Month, and staff and students at Berlin express their gratitude for the women in their lives.
Women in Berlin mention important women in their lives who have helped shape who they are today. Women in Berlin play prominent roles in clubs, classes, and more, such as Adriana Ybarra, who helps lead Berlin’s Yearbook class. Along with Bears that highlight women’s impact on their lives, Mrs. Trostle mentions a woman who has shaped society’s view of women and their capabilities.
“Eleanor Roosevelt deserves lots of credit for redefining what it means to be the first lady of the United States, as she did so much to champion the rights of women,” Mrs. Trostle said.
