As many scheduled for next year, lots of questions arise around AP classes. Some don’t know if they should take them and others are taking as many as they can.
When you look at your schedule, some helpful questions to ask are:
How full is your schedule?
What type of classes have you taken this year?
Would you be prepared to feel that class?
Do you genuinely enjoy that subject?
Talk to the teachers of the subject you want to take an AP in and friends who have taken that class to help get an idea if you should take that class.
“Talk to your current science teacher and say ‘what have you noticed from me so far this year? would this be a good fit for me.” Colburn said, “Some friends can be a little more dramatic than others about how hard it is or how easy it may be.”
