Berlin’s nine custodians help to keep 3140 the whole school clean where students tend to enjoy their time.
Students don’t always realize the amount of effort that these staff members put into keeping our building, tidy and usable.
Head custodian Dewey Beachley works hard to keep classrooms and hallways clean, as well as set up for events.
“I’m in my 18th year with Olentangy Schools,” Beachley said. “The students are older and more mature. It’s a lot more interactive”.
Teachers are grateful for the help that custodians provide them for special activities and keeping their classrooms clean.
“One thing I really appreciate about the custodians is that when we have large labs they clean up our large messes and take out a lot of trash,” science teacher Mrs. Nethero said.
