The Berlin girls wrestling team have spent the past couple of months training for their wrestling season after getting former alumni Maia Crumb to become the new head coach. While the change in leadership has been felt, many teammates such as senior Quinn Ventura, believe she is right for the job.
“I think compared to last year, our coaching wasn’t as great as last year as this year,” Ventura said. “(Crumb’s) been really pushing us to be great.”
The first official practice for girls wrestling is on Friday, November 14th in the wrestling room in the athletic hallway for any girls interested in the sport.
