The ring that cursed the family echoes once more, with a new chapter that expands once more. “Black Phone 2” dives deeper into nerve-tightening suspense that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats.

    Last weekend I went to the Polaris Cinemark movie theater to watch “Black Phone 2”.I  loved the first movie, and I couldn’t wait to see how it connected to the second film, and all the suspense.

    The suspense is thrilling, and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. The movie “Black Phone 2” is a horror film, connected to a series that starts with the first movie, “The Black Phone”. The first movie is centered around the character Finn, who escapes the Grabber, his kidnapper. After he was kidnapped and stuck in a basement. 

    The movie theater always makes watching movies the best experience. From the popcorn to the candy and all the drink options. I really recommend this movie and going to the Polaris Cinemark to watch it. 

    These two movies consist of a phone that shockingly doesn’t appear to include a line, informing the film watcher of the impossible yet important detail. The phone seems to be ringing, which feels wrong because the phone is disconnected. The phone will not stop till  Finn answers and listens to what the Grabber has to say. Once he answers, the Grabbers’ past victims will speak to Finn. They describe to him how to escape and set himself free. The performance by the actors deepens the storyline’s impact throughout the movie.

    In “Black Phone 2,” it starts with Finn and his sister’s life seemingly going back to normal after he got home, but his sister has dreams that see the future. People wonder what’s going to happen in the future.  She sees this specific dream of her dead mother, and it leads her to travel to where it happened. Then she can figure out the mystery herself. The Grabbers’ goal is to take revenge on Finn beyond the grave. This movie includes suspense, disappearance, and horror.

    I personally love this type of film because they always catch you off guard with jump scares and just the suspense of what’s going to happen next. The plot twists in movies like these are the best. Overall, I loved this film, and I can’t wait to watch other creations from this director. I definitely recommend it, giving this movie a ⅘.  I took one star off because I feel like it was very repetitive from the first movie, only because it follows the same plot line.
