Taylor Frankie Paul, the main star in the series, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has faced some serious allegations along with backlash recently. 

   Paul, who is thirty-one years old is faced with allegations of domestic violence against her ex Dakota Mortensen. These allegations arose when a video of Paul resurfaced from 2023. The video explicitly shows Paul as she throws a chair at Mortensen. In the process, this chair struck Paul’s daughter who is only eight years old and who was on their family room couch. Though Paul did already plead guilty to these charges, the video resurfaced recently and officials restrained her from her daughter as of now.

   Many fans have been upset online. There has been a large number of posts by supporters of Paul with lots of concern expressed with the situation. Many explain how they believe she needs help with her past PTSD and mental health issues, and how Secret Lives of Mormon Wives should continue without her. 

   The cast of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has had some comments on Paul, with various jabs towards her on Instagram and TikTok on the situation though, so fans do not know what to expect next from the show. Many people are super upset with the Bachelorette news as well.

   Paul who was chosen for the twenty second season of the Bachelorette has now had the spotlight taken from her when ABC canceled her season. This is due to the video that was released only a couple days before the new season was supposed to air. 

   Never once has this happened before in the Bachelorette’s history, so this made its fans extremely upset. Even worse, the Bachelorette has threatened to sue Paul; not due to the video of her, but rather spoilers of her with the man she chose from the Bachelorette. There are rumors, though, that Paul actually wants to sue the Bachelorette and not the other way around. 

   Paul, who has already pleaded guilty to her convictions in 2023 is angry with the show for not having aired. Many speculate that the producers already knew about this whole situation with her background check before the show. Therefore some believe she may sue because now that the video has come out the producers have decided to switch up and ruin lots of positive publicity for Paul.
