   Tiktoker Logan Moffit has grown in popularity due to his videos where he makes cucumber salad. Multiple other influencers have tried his recipes and it has been all the rave. But due to the popularity, there has been a shortage of cucumbers in Iceland.

   Moffit has shared over a dozen recipes to enhance your everyday cucumber. From the addition of soy sauce, to avocado, to peanut butter, the possibilities seem to be endless, however the cucumbers aren’t. With everyone in a race to get cucumbers to recreate one of the many recipes, Iceland has suffered a major blow with the shortage.

   According to the BBC, supplies should return to normal within the next week or two. Nevertheless, Moffit continues to get more creative with his recipes which makes you wonder how much longer the shortage will actually last?

   Although it is temporary, it shows how far a trend can go and how it can affect the economy when gone too far.
