EA Sports’ College Football 25 was released on July 19, and quickly became one of the most popular video games across the country with five million active users in one day.
College football fans have awaited for this highly anticipated moment for a long time, especially since the last release of the game came in 2014. The cover athletes of the new game are: Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Colorado athlete Travis Hunter, and Michigan running back Donovan Edwards.
“We know fans have been waiting a long time for this,” EA Sports General Manager Daryl Holt said.
The goal with the game is to deliver an authentic and immersive experience that captures the excitement of college football like never before. The return of the series was made possible by recent changes in NCAA rules, such as Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).
“Being a part of this game is a dream come true, it’s incredible to see our hard work on the field represented in such a realistic way,” Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins said.
Some of the new features that come with the release of the game include iconic atmospheres and stadiums, school traditions, road to glory, along with commentary and broadcast from voices such as Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler.
EA Sports College Football 25 will be available on PS5, XBOX Series X, and PC only, so stay tuned for more information to come!
