The NFL Conference Championships are set for next Sunday now that the NFL Divisional round wrapped up over the weekend.
The AFC top seed Baltimore Ravens will host the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Baltimore beat the Houston Texans last Saturday 34-10 at home last Saturday. Kansas City won a thriller in Buffalo against the Bills after the game tying 44-yard field goal was missed by Buffalo Kicker Tyler Bass.
“Ultimately, it’s completely on me. I’ve got to do a better job of getting through to my target,” Bass said after the game, according to ESPN.
The AFC Championship will kick off at 3:00 PM ET on Jan. 28.
The NFC runner-ups from last season, the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Detroit Lions. Detroit will make their second ever appearance in the NFC Championship game and their first since 1991, according to Pride of Detroit. The game will start at 6:30 PM ET in San Francisco.
The AFC Championship game will be aired on CBS and the NFC Championship game will be aired on FOX.
