As autumn quickly approaches, the bears are excited for fall festivities and decorations. Since decorations can get expensive, do-it-yourself projects are often a better option and add a personal touch. Read on to learn how to make your very own candy dish to add a cute and aesthetic addition to your house decor.

What you’ll need:

  • Flowerpot
  • Drainage plate
  • Round vase (make sure it fits on top of the pot)
  • Hot glue gun
  • Paint brushes
  • Paint (color of choice)
  • Ribbon of choice
  • Candy of choice (candy corn adds a nice fall touch!)

Steps to create:

1. Paint your flower pot and drainage plate. Make sure to paint the bottom of the pot as well.

2. After you allow the pot to dry, flip it over so that the open side is on your work surface. Use hot glue along the outer edge of the bottom of the pot and glue your vase on it.

3. Use your hot glue to glue your ribbon of choice to the pot. You can do this in whatever way you think looks best, the possibilities are endless.

4. Fill your vase with your candy of choice and place the painted drainage plate on top of the vase. Now you have the perfect autumn candy dish!
