Former Ohio State and Jacksonville Jaguars football coach Urban Meyer will return to college football, but not to coach.

Meyer resigned as Ohio State’s coach after the completion of the 2018 season. Then he worked as an analyst for Fox’s “Big Noon Saturday” college football pregame show in 2019 and 2020. In Jan. 2021, he was hired as Jacksonville’s head coach where he lasted 13 games before he got fired for his 2-11 record on the season.

Meyer recently signed a contract to rejoin Fox’s “Big Noon Saturday” college football pregame show. Meyer will join former USC Heisman winners Matt Leinhart and Reggie Bush and ex-Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn on the show.
