Bears’ “Senior Spring” 2021

Despite the ongoing pandemic, Berlin Bears are back in action. Many events are cancelled to stop the spread of COVID-19. Although, there is a lot going on still for the Senior class of 2021. With COVID guideline precautions taken place, the seniors will have back some source of normalcy.

The senior class will have a moment together as a family by taking a senior class picture. The students should wear double blue and be at the stadium on April 14th at 11:30 am.

The Senior Class “Bear Bowling Night” will be held at Star Lanes 7-9pm on April 21st and 29. It will cost $20 for pizza, soda, shoes, and bowling. Arrive in your teams and let them know you are Bears bowling.

A night to get together and play golf is happening as well. Seniors will be able to golf with a group of Bears at TopGolf (Polaris). Be sure to register and pay for your group at TopGolf.com, a week in advance. You must arrive at your golf group and identify yourself as a Berlin Bear. A cookout is also scheduled to take place. If the weather is permitting, the Senior Cookout will take place during lunch periods. Mr. Spinner and Mr. Betz will flip hamburgers on April 28or 29.

Seniors will also be having their first official formal celebration. The OBHS Senior Formal Night Out will be held on April 30. Students do not have school on this day. It will be held at Villa Milano, 7-10 pm. There will be karaoke, trivia, Senior Court Announcement and more!

A night to think back and reflect upon this crazy year will be held on May 12. Senior Night of Reflection is virtual and will be held at 7 pm. Mr. Fraley and Mrs. Middleton will be speaking with a Picture/ Video Show to celebrate the class of 2021.

A virtual OBHS Senior Awards Night will be held at 7pm on May 13.

A new tradition! There’s a new custom at Berlin where the seniors will be honored in a building-wide walk and clap-out. This will be held on senior’s last day of class May 19.

The last hurrah will happen on May 21, during the Senior Sunset Salute. Arrive at the Stadium at OBHS, at 8 pm.

Graduation will be a drive thru on May 22 at 9 am. Be sure to have those cars decorated.

Another event that is still to be determined is the Senior Carnival. Be on the lookout for updates in regards to that event.

The seniors have been through a stressful year during the pandemic. Now is the chance to take a break and have fun.If you are a senior or know one, be sure to inform them of these events. Congratulations to the senior class and keep moving forward!
