The fourth quarter goes by quickly for most students but most importantly the seniors who get out of school on May 20.
The class of 2026 has many things to look forward to before they graduate high school. One of the first events is prom, which is hosted at Kemba Live on April 25. Up next on the senior path to graduation is the special day of April 29, where the seniors have their senior cookout and senior award ceremony.
The cookout is hosted during all lunch periods and seniors are suggested to wear a shirt that shows which college they will attend.
The awards ceremony is an invitation only event where seniors get recognized by the school and district for all the great they do.
There are also a few important deadlines for seniors to complete. On April 20, seniors have their last chance to submit photos into the senior slideshow. On May 1, they have their last opportunity to order the yearbook and they have to report their final college decision to student services.
On May 4-15, AP testing occurs during school hours. Additionally, all senior fees are due May 8 in order to receive their diploma.
Senior Night of Reflection is on May 14 in the auditorium at 7 p.m.
For some seniors a sad but fulfilling day occurs on May 20, which is the seniors last day of classes at Berlin. Two days after, the seniors have their senior clapout, carnival, and senior sunset.
One of the final mandatory events for seniors is the mandatory graduation rehearsal at 10:30 a.m. on May 27. Everything that they need will be passed out that day, including the parking passes that are required for graduation day.
The final and most important event the class of 2026 gets to experience is their high school graduation at the Schottenstein Center at 9 a.m. This is the senior’s final memory with their high school before they take on a new chapter of their lives.
