The Olentangy Berlin football team overcomes the pressure of many rivalry games against other Olentangy schools.
We go against the three other Olentangy schools during the football season, the Pioneers, the Patriots, and the Braves. Although they are our closest neighbors, they are also our biggest rivals. Players on the field on Friday night face many pressures from all sides. The students and coaches expect them to win, as the rival team trash talks them and plays their best in hopes that we lose.
“We went to middle school with these guys, we just want to beat them so bad”, said Colton Less ‘26 “We’ve known these guys our whole lives.”
