At Olentangy Berlin High school, there are several ways to get involved in journalism.
Freshman students take intro to journalism and learn about AP style, how to conduct an interview, and other skills to set them up for success to take the other classes in the future.
Berlin offers Multimedia Journalism (Double Blue Sports Network), Broadcast Journalism (Berlin News Network), News Magazine (The Bulletin) , and Yearbook (The River). Each program has different opportunities and students often take more than one.
The positive culture that Berlin journalism continues to invite in new students who love to write and create videos or graphics. The students in room 2005 and 2004 love to call these classes their favorite.
“The best part is just the people and the connections you make in the class” said Adriana Ybarra ‘26.
