The show everyone knows and loves, Stranger Things, is coming to an end as season five releases this fall.

   The final season of Stranger Things will publish episode one on Nov. 25, which marks over ten years since the show began. The season will split the episode release dates with Volume Two releasing on Christmas Day, and the finale, Volume Three, on New Year’s Day. 

   One of the producers, Matt Duffer, mentioned how the final season will tie all the knots and show more about the Upside Down. The Upside Down is known as the distorted, eerie mirror image of the original setting, Hawkins.

   “We’re bringing the story full circle, answering long-standing questions, and delivering a powerful conclusion for our beloved characters,” Duffer said.

   Spoilers in the new trailers reveal characters Holly and Karen Wheeler hiding underwater, Nancy washing blood off her hands, Dustin crying in Steve’s arms, and Hopper holding Eleven’s body. TikTok and Instagram are filled with theories on who will die this season or who will come back.

   Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, was interviewed recently after the filming was finished. He stated how excited he is to see the episode’s devastating impact on the audience.

   “There’s not going to be a dry eye, it’s going to be sad, but anyways, not to be negative, it is a really great season,” Schnapp said.

   Another character, Chief Hopper, played by David Harbour, mentions how upset the cast was after reading the last episode’s script, implying an upsetting ending.

   “At the end of this episode, when we were reading it, just us reading it, about halfway through, people started crying, and about the last twenty minutes, it was just uncontrollably crying waves of different people,” Harbour said.

   With over 650 hours of recording, each episode is at least two hours. As the premiere date approaches, theories build. Fans await the Hawkins crew’s fate as they have their last moments in this final season.
