As Halloween quickly approaches, Cedar Point started preparations for this years’ season of HalloWeekends that will feature even scarier and spookier attractions than ever before.
“HalloWeekends offers plenty of scares and thrills for more mature guests. You’ll find indoor haunted house-style mazes, outdoor scare zones, monsters and more,” Kevin Payne said according to Hey Kevin Payne.
Cedar Point’s Halloweekends offers fun for everyone. For the thrill seekers there will be 10 themed indoor and outdoor mazes open this season. From blood bath’s, to corn mazes, and clowns there are enough spooky activities for everyone.
“Of course, this spooktacular event isn’t just for those who love to be scared. There’s plenty of spook-free Halloween fun for kids during the day, plus more than 70 rides, four kids’ areas and games galore,” Nikki Roberts said according to Metro Parent.
For the guests who are not as into the haunted houses or scare zones, Cedar Point stills provides many options. Since the park is such a family oriented activity they make sure to have plenty fun filled activities for the kids. Events include, trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating, hay mazes, and of course the many rides they have all season long.
“Like most Cedar Point special events, HalloWeekends offers several new, delightful creations from the park’s culinary team. Expect to find delicious bites scattered around the park for your tasting pleasure” Payne said.
If neither of these activities are of interest there is still more to do at Cedar Point. The food is one thing that people look forward to when they visit amusement parks and it sure is one area that Cedar Point does not fall short in. With plenty of menu items throughout the season they add even more fall themed items. Expect to see special vampire themed blood bag drinks, Octoberfest pizza, and pumpkin spice churros.
Tickets are now on sale for HalloWeekends and start at $49.99. Additional haunted house add ons are sold separately.
