Season 34 of Dancing With The Stars, (DWTS), is in full swing and fans are ready to watch every Tuesday.
On Tuesday, September 16 at 8 p.m. DWTS kicks off the season with their premiere. Season 33 had 4.97 million fans who watched the premiere, so producers expect more fans for season 34 due to the high numbers in past seasons.
DWTS has aired since 2005, and typically receives millions of fans. DWTS consists of 14 pro-dancers who teach their celebrity partners how to dance. Fans then vote on their favorite couple of the week, and the couple with the least amount of votes is kicked off the show.
The cast of DWTS season 34 was released early September, and fans believe it to be the best cast DWTS has had in a long time. With Olympic athletes, TikTok content stars, reality stars from Utah, and even a wildlife conservationist, this cast is unique.
Some of the cast includes Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt from the popular Utah reality show, Secret Life of Mormon Wives. Jordan Chiles, Olympic gymnasts, Andy Richter, a popular comedian, Scott Hoying, singer from the a cappella group Pentantonix, Danielle Fisher, actor known for the Disney show Boy Meets World, and many more well-known celebrities.
Along with the cast, Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return to co-host this season with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.
With the different personalities from the cast, two hilarious hosts, and three ex-prodancer judges, fans hope for an interesting season.
This season is special because it marks the 20th anniversary of the series. Producers already have plans to make this season different from the rest, including an episode dedicated to the anniversary, special treats for fans, and return of some of the fan-favorite professional dancers.
DWTS also has plans to introduce some new themes this season. In past seasons they have done a Disney night, a halloween night, and country music night. These nights tend to be fan favorites and get millions of views.
